Checks would come in days late but as an employee I was expected to arrive on time everyday and push sales. Which isn’t a problem, but with my check coming in late every week it just wasn’t fair. Additionally, being alone and closing the shop alone was too much for one person to do. The manager would complain for having sticky floors and insisted on mopping 3-4 times a night. I felt guilty using dirty and sometimes outdated equipment and serving it to costumers! But I had no choice. The manager was really cheap and insisted on us (me and my fellow coworkers) to do the most work with as little pay as possible. In general stay away from the place! Both as a costumer for health reasons and an employee and I’m sure you’ll find a better job somewhere else.Fast pacedShort breaks, Low Pay and Late checks"

The store went out of business shortly after I quit. Owner/manager didn't understand proper cleaning techniques or how to properly run a business. Stole tip money from employees. Was never present except to get money. My paycheck was always short. every chaotic environment with no order or sense of responsibility from other employees. 15-17 year olds were working with 0 supervision and left the store a disaster.everything"

Team Member (Former Employee) says"A typical day at work included shining the front counters to look presentable for customers, preparing food, running the cash register, keeping the store clean, keeping the yogurt machines full and clean, preparing backups for supplies and stocking them. I learned that hard work, punctuality, and honesty does ensure success, I believe I was let go because the store owners husband was a pervert who preferred to hire attractive girls my age (19) regardless of their work performance. It would also explain why every guy that has worked there ends up being fired within 8 months. My co - workers were great people, very reliable, honest, hard working, and fun to work with. The hardest part of the job was taking apart and putting the machines back together for maintenance. Team Member (Former Employee) says"There are absolutely no breaks allowed or you'll be written up. You can't take a break even if you work for eight hours straight. The employees break the health code and I've found mold and dead flies several times in the food and kitchen area because of lack of cleaning. The owners have been known to actually scream and yell at employees and they simply get away with it because they are backed by a law firm. The co-workers are nice but most of them do not do their job well and are lazy and will sit in the customer area for almost their whole shift without cleaning or refilling anything the whole time. In fact several employees I know have plugged in their laptops in the customer lobby and watched television and videos on them.
